Club Membership

Purchase a Tennis Alberta membership and enjoy a variety of benefits, available today!

  • Run a Tennis Alberta sanctioned event! Tennis Alberta sanctions member club events therefore marking them with a stamp of approval. The events are held to the highest standard and are advertised throughout the provinces. Players who participate in sanctioned tournaments collect points towards their Tennis Alberta ranking. Increase player turnout by sanctioning your tournament!
  • Host a major event! Each year, clubs apply to host key provincial tournaments. Tennis Alberta allocates the tournaments, and some events are eligible for subsidies. Increase the visibility of your club; host a major event!
  • Make the draw! Member clubs now have access to an on-line draw making mechanism. The program will make draws, collecting player fees and seeding a breeze! Free up staff time, reduce errors and host a successful event!

Player Membership

Tennis Alberta is part of a national system that integrates membership, tournaments, and rankings across Canada. Tournament participants are able to manage their own profile, update their information as needed, and register directly for tournaments, events, clinics, and other Tennis Alberta events.

A Tennis Alberta Player Licence is a requirement for all tennis players in the province who wish to participate in sanctioned events throughout the year.

Competitive Juniors get a shot at playing international tournaments
A Tennis Alberta ranking can help competitive juniors gain entry into ITF events. Note:Juniors without ITF ranking points that plan on playing ITF events should ensure their Player Licence does not expire. Players with an expired Licence will not be on the rankings list used by Tennis Canada and the ITF to determine acceptance into an ITF tournament.
